Well, as I type, it is now November 13. Desmond really did turn 11 months on October 24. And I've had the pictures uploaded and ready to go since about October 26. But I wanted to elaborate and say what an awesome 11 month old he is. But he is SO awesome that I never found the massive amount of time it would take to describe his awesomeness. (He is equally awesome and time-consuming. Not a bad thing in life, but bad for record-keeping.)
SO, here are the pictures of one VERY awesome 11 month old! Note that he still has his amazingly gorgeous blue eyes and amazingly ridiculously gorgeous eyelashes. He also still only has 5 teeth and, as of 24 October, had not yet graced us with fun things like clapping for "yay" or waving "bye bye." (He got there soon after, though, but he still only has the 5 teeth.)
I do believe he was "dancing" by this point - really freaking adorable!
Demonjello's c-spine injury has been repaired (aah, if only we could all be made of cardboard!). Sadly, he sustained a groin injury during this photo shoot. It's tough out there on that brown battlefield! Thank goodness he gets to retire after November 24! We're still trying to decide how he should spend his retirement.
OH! And this is how he "smiles" for the camera now. It's really unbelievably cute to watch him do it - not quite so cute in the finished product. We do what we can to get semi-candid shots, at least.
